Privacy Policy Effective for Canada

This Privacy Policy covers only those activities that are subject to the provisions of Canada's federal and provincial privacy laws, as applicable. This Privacy Policy has a limited scope and application. Consequently, the rights and obligations contained in this Privacy Policy may not be applicable to all individuals or in all jurisdictions.

Personal Information We Collect

When you visit the Site, certain information is automatically collected about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, information is collected about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. This automatically-collected information is referred to as “Device Information.”

We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

  •     “Cookies” are data files that are placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier. If you visit our login page to register for an account or make a purchase, a temporary cookie will be set to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser. When you log in, several cookies are set up to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select ‘Remember Me’, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
  •     “Log files” track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.
  •     “Web beacons,” “tags,” and “pixels” are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site.

In addition, when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, certain information is collected from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers, email address, and phone number.  This information is referred to as “Order Information.” You understand and acknowledge that this information will be shared with the artist in order to fulfill the purchase.

For Artist users that register on our website (if any), the personal information they provide is stored in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information. If you have registered for an account on our site, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

When “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy is discussed, this includes information about both Device Information and Order Information.

How Do We Use Your Personal Information?

The Order Information that is collected is generally used to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations).  In addition, this Order Information is used to:  Communicate with you; Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services in line with the preferences you have shared with us

The Device Information that is collected is used to help screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

Embedded Content from Other Websites

Content on this site may include embedded content (e.g., videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the same way as if the visitor has visited the other website. These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

How We Protect Your Information

Personal data shall be subject to additional safeguards to ensure this data is processed securely. For example, we work hard to ensure data is encrypted when in transit and storage, and access to this data will be strictly limited to a minimum number of individuals and subject to confidentiality commitments.
