01 White Birch Natural Edge Bowl

This native Canadian tree was sourced from my Niagara property. The tree died due to the Bronze Birch Borer. The centre of the bowl features a distinctive grain figure which was formed when two lateral branches knit together. The irregular bark edge follows the natural surface characteristics of the log. Each wood turned item is hand sanded and sealed with a food-grade, highly durable gloss finish.
