Burlington
I have always filled my time with drawing and painting or creating in one way or another. I attended Sheridan College and graduated from the Illustration program and worked as a freelance artist in the commercial arts field. One day, (in 2008), I decided to give oils a try. Before I knew it, I had a collection of paintings in my studio. I put a few pieces on the walls of a local shop. They were well-received and sold immediately. I kept on painting. Eventually, I started to combine my passion for birds with my love of painting, personifying them, but never humanizing them. Telling the stories I wanted to tell. I started to enter juried shows and received many awards for my work. In 2021 I was invited to be one of the Spotlight Artists in the February issue of Arabella Magazine. I continue to sell my work in local venues and art shows and can usually be found painting in my home studio, and occasionally painting locally en plein air.
