Shooting Stars
Rosemarie Armstrong

Shooting stars (meteors). Tiny particles of dust burn up above the Earth, travelling at terrific speeds into our upper atmosphere where the night sky glows with their radiant light. Sporadic meteors are a phenomenon where one might see about ten shooting stars per hour. In this painting, shooting stars in the night sky illuminate the waves crashing upon the shore. The beauty of nature.
