Similkameen River
Rosemarie Armstrong

Travelling through the Similkameen Valley and Manning Provincial Park in B.C. you will follow the river, 197 km (122 mi) long. Home to eagles, osprey, red-tail hawk and mountain goats, and in the fast currents and deep pools, mountain whitefish, rainbows and cutthroat. The rugged beauty of the Similkameen River is evidence of nature’s power; flowing from the Cascade Mountains, the river carved the beautiful valley over 200 million years ago.
