I paint the substance of the real world in a modern, semi-abstract style in acrylic. I find colour, "movement" and texture to be central to my art, endeavouring to capture the inherent beauty common in the dynamic world of local nature and the appealing clutter of the "still life" around me. Capturing (and presenting) small, common and yet interesting snapshots of our oh-so sophisticated environment in this way is rewarding, all in itself.
