This stretch of Opeongo Road in Algonquin Park is not only a popular spot to find wildlife, the landscape also makes it worth a visit. Changing with each season, the marsh in the foreground gives way to black spruce and tamarack before the hardwoods take over in background. For this image, I wanted to include the beaver dam to honor their presence throughout much of the park.
