Painter: Catharine lives and works in Port Dalhousie. She began her education at Georgian College and York University studying set design, printmaking and painting. She writes: "I believe that a painting is not an object but a visual and sensual experience". In 2008 Catharine completed her Fine Art Postgraduate studies at West Dean College /University of Sussex UK after surviving a life threatening accident. With this professional growth she transformed her artistic style to a deeper more refined expression winning major accolades such as the prestigious 'Chairmans Prize' given by The Edward James Foundation UK.
Catharine continues to exhibit her work internationally while lecturing and inspiring other artists to experiment in their work by teaching and mentoring.
