Cubism

This piece was for an assignment in my drawing and painting art class. The assignment was to make a painting based on the cubism movement. I chose to praticurly focus on how cubism involves a lot of angles, so I made sure to avoid any round edges. Something I noticed in cubism is how there's often a lot of angular shapes with either different colours or objects inside. I thought I could use that as light coming from the camera, and have it yellow to contrast with the background.
