I am a Canadian Artist and Blacksmith, working and teaching classes from my studio in rural Niagara. I began my career as a traditional wildlife painter, but unexpectedly fell in love with the rustic natural beauty of wood and metal while studying Art at OCAD University. My passion for the timeless elegance of ironwork and the rich history of the craft brought my work off of the canvas and into the sculptural realm. My unique body of work ranges from expressively detailed wildlife portraits burned and carved into wood, to sculpted natural designs and functional items crafted from hand-forged steel. Within each of my designs I seek to capture the essence of the wilderness and explore our collective place within it
