Woodstock.
My name is Jennifer Dawes, and I am a professional ceramic artist based in Woodstock, Ontario, CanadaWith a university degree in Ceramics and Art History, my practice is grounded in both formal training and years of hands-on experience. I’ve had the opportunity to study under a range of established potters, take part in artist residencies across Canada, and exhibit my work internationally.
My work blends playful, nostalgic themes drawn from pop culture with refined ceramic techniques, including mishisma, underglazing, glazing, and luster. I’m drawn to storytelling through surface design, each piece layered with intention, detail, and personality.
