The Great Northern Lights Show

The aurora activities on May 10-11, 2024, was truly a great northern lights show. A series of violent explosions of a sun spot resulted in a Kp 9 storm that lasted over 24 hours. This image was taken on Pelee Island. Even on this southernmost inhabited land in Canada, aurora filled the sky.
