Mariana is a contemporary expressionist painter recognized for her intuitively layered acrylic compositions.

Her work evokes the emotional resonance of the natural world, capturing the untamed beauty of forests, skies, and reflective waters. Each piece interprets quiet wilderness scenes not as they appear, but as they are felt—immersive, atmospheric, and deeply personal.

Self-taught, Mariana sharpens her practice through weekly plein-air study, dedicating Fridays to painting with the Niagara Plein Air Artists. She is also an active member of the Parkway Artists’ Guild, contributing to local exhibitions and community projects.
