• Niagara based Wine Artist •
For 15 years I was a full-time graphic designer at Vineland Estates Winery and while creating a wine label the idea of using wine as paint was born. Using wine as a medium is unique, unpredictable, and involves a long process of layering (staining) the paper to achieve the level of detail and depth of each piece. Preserving the wine paintings is also important so that fading is not an option. However, wine is organic so each original will age over time creating a one-of-a-kind piece.
