Angel In Red

What a glorious vision. This rocky bluff in northern Ontario near the Manitoba border, graced by a brilliant red tree. What a pleasant sight after days of painting in the rain. Did you know that the red pigment in leaves is more vibrant during the cold autumn months? This pigment helps the tree to process energy even as the temperatures drop and the hours of sunlight decrease.
