Pacific Steamroller

Rosemarie Armstrong

Steamroller is a word often used to describe a force or a reckoning. The ocean is a powerful force, its waves capable of shaping the shoreline through erosion, moving sediment and abrading rock. Waves shape rock through their sheer force, weakening the rock and breaking it into tiny pieces.
