Tamara Kwapich is a multidisciplinary artist working in both ceramics and paint.
Her sculpture and painting are whimsical illustrations that invite the viewers to
interpret the stories in new ways. Traditional storytelling, fables and myth are her
main inspirations as is her fascination with animal behaviour and the patterns of
nature. By revisiting old stories and interpreting them through a contemporary
lens she hopes to give new life to these wonderful tales.
Tamara Kwapich is a Burlington born artist with bachelor degrees in Fine art and
Landscape Architecture from the University of Guelph. She is an award winning
artist creating and teaching out of her studio in Ancaster, Ontario.
