Rust-proof corsets were one of the beauty standards back in 1905 that were advertised to women. The beauty industry still sells to women what women are supposed to think they want and need. We're a good ways from the early 1900's, but we haven't come such a long way from asking women to conform to ridiculous standards. Work is ready to hang.
