In the Beginning #2

This design #2 is based on one of the first paintings I did that inspired the connection to my ancestry. I taught myself the technique of painting using dots that imitated the Red River Metis past time of beading. My designs were and are based on historical patterns found on clothing and items used in everyday life. I am also inspired by the beauty in the floral world. This piece is ready to hang.
