Waterloo
Jen Prior paints from the place beneath thought - intuitively, urgently, from nature and body. Working almost entirely without brushes, she builds luminous surfaces by hand, layering pigment directly with her fingers and cloth. Her works capture the meditative quality of water and light; bringing the stillness of the natural world inside where it can do its quiet work.She lives and works in Waterloo, Ontario
