Sisterly Love

This watercolour is very personal to me. It is of my little sister and I, and we have been living very far away from each other since fall. From the moment I first saw her, only a week old, I loved her more than I've loved anything but sometimes things like that are hard to say when you're so far apart, so you just don't. I painted this from a picture of us on my first visit to see her since fall, when she wouldn't let me put her down on a walk.
