Felicity Somerset

Curiosity and creativity are watchwords for Felicity. She is a Toronto-based fine art photographer whose photography is most often inspired by nature and rural life. Her focus is on the intimate and often abstracted image that captures the essence and intricacies of rural and urban landscapes. Felicity grew up in England and her passion for image-making started when she was a child.

Since 2004, Felicity’s photography has been exhibited frequently in both group and solo shows in galleries and public spaces throughout Ontario. Her photographic work is in private collections across Canada and internationally and is in the permanent collections of the Lennox and Addington Museum and Archives and the Art Gallery of Northumberland. Felicity is a member of the Arts and Letters Club of Toronto (Past Art Chair) the Artists’ Network (Past Chair) and the Canadian Association of Photographic Arts.
