Heidi TeBrake Steps Down From the Pelham Art Festival Chairperson Role

After 35 years of service, including 15 years in a leadership role, Heidi TeBrake has stepped down from her role as the Executive Committee Chair and Festival Chair of the Pelham Art Festival.

Heidi has been involved with the Pelham Art Festival since 1988 and plans to continue to support the Festival in other ways.

She began participating in the Festival as an artist and Committee member who eventually took on the roles of Executive Committee Chair and Festival Chair in 2008. Her outstanding leadership qualities as well as her artistic talent led to her serving as the Festival Committee Decorating Coordinator concurrently with the other roles.

Recently, the PAF Committee recognized TeBrake’s dedication to the art festival. Under Heidi’s guidance in her years as Chair, the annual Mother’s Day Weekend Festival has become an exciting destination for artists and for people who come from far and wide to see and purchase quality original fine art in person and online. The Pelham Art Festival’s contribution to the community has continued to flourish to a total of $474,500 over the festival’s 36-year history with further funds to be contributed resulting from the record breaking 2023 show. Proceeds from the PAF, largely directed toward Lincoln Pelham Libraries, have also provided annual scholarships to graduating Pelham students of E.L. Crossley Secondary School and Notre Dame College School, pursuing post-secondary studies in fine art. Additionally, Festival funds have supported various art projects in Pelham.
