Transformations Second Atmosphere

As a storm passes over a surrealistic rural setting, a dramatic visual transformation from deep heavy sky to sunny summer day is represented by the shifting atmosphere. As the blue sky and sunlit barn are revealed, one mood changes to another. In my Rural Atmospheres series of paintings, I create images that represent my personal way of seeing everyday objects in spacial scenes such as barns, farmers fields and skies in a surrealistic manner.
